* Be careful not to pinch your ngers when setting up or folding up the stand.
* Do not adjust the height of the stand while a keyboard is mounted on it.
* Avoid inserting ngers into any of the holes in the stand. Otherwise, you risk injury.
* Before using the stand, make sure that the inner legs are locked. If the inner legs are not
locked, you risk injury as the result of the keyboard falling from the stand.
* Use the cable holder to manage the cables that are connected to the keyboard.
* Do not move the stand with the keyboard resting on it. Doing so may cause the keyboard
to overturn or fall.
Do not open or perform any internal modi cations on the stand. (The only
exception would be where this manual provides speci c instructions which
should be followed in order to put in place user–installable options.)
Do not attempt to repair the stand, or replace parts within it (except when this
manual provides speci c instructions directing you to do so). Refer all servicing
to your retailer, the nearest Roland Service Center, or an authorized Roland
distributor, as listed on the “Information” page.
Never install the stand in any of the following locations.
• Subject to temperature extremes (e.g., direct sunlight in an enclosed vehicle,
near a heating duct, on top of heat-generating equipment); or are
• Damp (e.g., baths, washrooms, on wet oors); or are
• Exposed to steam or smoke; or are
• Subject to salt exposure; or are
• Humid; or are
• Exposed to rain; or are
• Dusty or sandy; or are
• Subject to high levels of vibration and shakiness.
Make sure you always have the stand placed so it is level and sure to remain
stable. Never place it on stands that could wobble, or on inclined surfaces.
In households with small children, an adult should provide supervision until the
child is capable of following all the rules essential for the safe operation of the
stand.
Protect the stand from strong impact.
(Do not drop it!)
This stand for use only with speci c Roland musical instruments. Use with
other models is capable of resulting in instability causing possible injury. See
apparatus instructions.
Even if you observe the cautions given in the owner’s manual, certain types of
handling may allow the keyboard to fall from the stand, or cause the stand to
overturn. Please be mindful of any safety issues before using the keyboard.
Never climb on top of the stand.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Placement
• Depending on the material and temperature of the surface on which you place the
stand, its rubber feet may discolor or mar the surface. You can place a piece of felt
or cloth under the rubber feet to prevent this from happening. If you do so, please
make sure that the stand will not slip or move accidentally.
Maintenance
• For everyday cleaning wipe the stand with a soft, dry cloth or one that has been
slightly dampened with water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a cloth impregnated
with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Afterwards, be sure to wipe the stand
thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid the possibility
of discoloration and/or deformation.

this stand are subject to change without prior notice.
USING THE UNIT SAFELY
Before using this stand, carefully read the sections entitled: “USING THE UNIT SAFELY” and “IMPORTANT NOTES.”
Additionally, the manual should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference.
1 Setting up the feet and arms

2 Adjusting the height of the stand
1. While rmly holding the upper beam with one hand, turn the
height adjustment knob clockwise.
The locking mechanism for the inner leg will be released, and the upper
beam will move.

2. While continuing to turn the height adjustment knob, lift the
upper beam until it’s at the desired height.
Adjust it so that the centers of the holes on the inner legs are aligned with
the edges of the outer legs.

3. Take your hand away from the height adjustment knob.
You should hear a clicking sound when the inner legs are properly locked.
* Try moving the upper beam up or down slightly, and con rm that the
inner legs are locked.
MEMO
If the stand seems loose, turn the adjuster to adjust the height.
Setting Up the Keyboard
1. Firmly insert the rubber feet on the bottom of the keyboard (at
its front, beneath the keys) into the rubber feet receptacles on
the arms (either A or B).
The keyboard has been set up properly once its rubber feet have been
inserted into the rubber feet receptacles of the arms.
* Check to make certain that both of the rubber feet are properly
inserted into the rubber feet receptacles. If the rubber feet are not
properly inserted into the rubber feet receptacles, the keyboard could
tilt, or fall down.
Folding Up the Stand
1. Disconnect all cables that are connected to the keyboard.
2. Remove the keyboard from the stand.
3. Remove the cables from the cable holder.
4. Using the procedure described in “Adjusting the height of the
stand,” adjust the stand so it’s at its lowest position.
* Try moving the upper beam up or down slightly, to check if the inner
legs are locked.
5. Fold up the stand by performing the reverse of the steps
described in “Setting up the feet and arms.”
Assembling the Stand
* When assembling the KS-J8, cover your work surface with a soft blanket or the cushioning materials in which the parts were packed. You risk scratching
the parts or the oor if you place the parts directly on the oor.

修理／部品の交換などで、取扱説明書に書かれていないことは、絶対にしな

•温度が極端に高い場所（直射日光の当たる場所、暖房機器の近く、発
熱する機器の上など）
•水気の近く（風呂場、洗面台、濡れた床など）や湿度の高い場所

•雨に濡れる場所
•ほこりや砂ぼこりの多い場所
•振動や揺れの多い場所
このスタンドを、ぐらつく台の上や傾いた場所に設置しないでください。
必ず安定した水平な場所に設置してください。
お子様のいるご家庭で使用する場合、お子様の取り扱いやいたずらに注意
してください。必ず大人のかたが、監視／指導してあげてください。

このスタンドはローランド製品専用です。該当製品以外と組み合わせて使
うと、不安定な状態となって落下や転倒を引き起こし、けがをするおそれ

取扱説明書に記載の注意事項が守られていても、取り扱いによってはスタ
ンドからキーボードが落下したりスタンドが転倒したりする可能性があり
ます。使用にあたっては事前に安全を確認したうえでお使いください。
このスタンドの上に乗らないでください。
使用上のご注意
設置について
•設置条件（設置面の材質、温度など）によってはスタンドのゴム足が、設置した台な
どの表面を変色または変質させることがあります。
お手入れについて
•通常のお手入れは、柔らかい布で乾拭きするか、堅く絞った布で汚れを拭き取ってく
ださい。汚れが激しいときは、中性洗剤を含んだ布で汚れを拭き取ってから、柔らか
い布で乾拭きしてください。
•変色や変形の原因となるベンジン、シンナーおよびアルコール類は、使用しないでく
ださい。
修理について
•お客様がこのスタンドを分解（取扱説明書に記載されている指示を除く）、改造され
た場合、以後の性能について保証できなくなります。また、修理をお断りする場合も
あります。
•当社では、この製品の補修用性能部品（製品の機能を維持するために必要な部品）を、
製造打切後 6 年間保有しています。この部品保有期間を修理可能の期間とさせてい
ただきます。なお、保有期間が経過した後も、故障箇所によっては修理可能の場合が
ありますので、お買い上げ店、またはローランドお客様相談センターにご相談くださ
い。
その他の注意について
•このスタンドが入っていた梱包箱や緩衝材を廃棄する場合、各地域のゴミの分別基準
に従って行ってください。
•製品の仕様および外観は、改良のため予告なく変更することがあります。

1 フットとアームをセットする
1.
下図のようにスタンドを置きます。
高さ調節ノブが下にある
2.
フットを片方ずつ開きます。

スタンドを裏返します。

フットをいっぱいまで開きます。

注意の意味について警告と
図記号の例
は、強制（必ずすること）を表わしています。
具体的な強制内容は、 の中に描かれています。
左図の場合は、「電源プラグをコンセントから抜くこ
と」を表わしています。

具体的な注意内容は、 の中に描かれています。

は、禁止（してはいけないこと）を表わしています。

アームをいっぱいまで開きます。

2 スタンドの高さを調節する
1.
片手でアッパー・ビームを支え、高さ調節ノブを右に回します。
インナー・レッグのロックが解除され、アッパー・ビームが動きます。

高さ調節ノブを回したままアッパー・ビームを持ち上げ、好
みの高さに調節します。
インナー・レッグの穴の中心が、アウター・レッグの端と同じ高さに
なるように合わせます。

3.
高さ調節ノブから手を放します。
カチッという音が鳴り、インナー・レッグがロックされます。
※アッパー・ビームを少し上下させて、インナー・レッグがロック
されているかを確認してください。
メモ
スタンドががたつく場合は、アジャスターを回して高さを調節し
ます。
キーボードをセットする
1.
キーボード底面にある鍵盤側のゴム足を、アームのゴム足受
け（A または B）に確実に入れます。
アームのゴム足受けに鍵盤側のゴム足を入れると、キーボードが正し
くセットされます。
※2 つのゴム足がゴム足受けに入っていることを確認してください。
ゴム足がゴム足受けに入っていないと、キーボードが傾いたり落
下したりする恐れがあります。
スタンドを折りたたむ
1.
キーボードに接続しているケーブルをすべて外します。
2.
キーボードをスタンドからおろします。
3.
ケーブル・ホルダーからケーブルを取り出します。
4.
「スタンドの高さを調節する」の手順で、スタンドの高さを一
番低い位置にします。
※アッパー・ビームを少し上下させて、インナー・レッグがロック
されているかを確認してください。
5.
「フットとアームをセットする」とは逆の手順で、スタンドを
折りたたみます。
スタンドを組み立てる
※組み立てるときは、部品を入れている梱包シートや、柔らかい布などを下に敷いて作業をしてください。床などに直接部品を置くと部品や床に傷が
つく恐れがあります。
