COMPLIANCE
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with
the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15
of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and

used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful

GETTING STARTED

Download the App
The Intermatic ABRA app is available on
Google Play and the App Store.
Follow the instructions to create your
account.
Insert the Smart Wi-Fi Plug into a receptacle.
Press the Power button to turn the Plug/Gateway ON and OFF.
Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to enter the
Pairing Mode, indicated by a flashing blue light.
Select “Add Device” to discover the Smart Plug/Gateway and
add it to your ABRA system.
Select the desired Room and re-name the Plug/Gateway if
you’d like. Tap “Done” when finished.
On the ABRA app Home Screen, scroll to the assigned room.
Find the Smart Plug/Gateway in the “Other Devices” section.
Tap inside the Device Tile to open the Smart Plug/Gateway
Control Panel.
The Smart Plug/Gateway will be recognized in a few seconds.
Tap “Add” to connect it to your ABRA system.
Your Wi-Fi name and password should be retained in the app,
enabling the Plug/Gateway to automatically join your Wi-Fi
network.
Plug Controls
Tap the “Socket” tab to turn the turn the plug on and off, set
timers and schedules, and change user preferences.
Gateway Controls
Tap the “Gateway” tab to add, view or modify ABRA
Bluetooth
®
devices like the ABRA Surface Switch and ABRA
Motion and Brightness Sensor.
Once the Plug/Gateway has been successfully added, tap the
“Edit” tool to assign it to a Room.
While the Smart Plug/Gateway is in the pairing mode, tap the
“+” sign at the upper right of the app.
