Installing the Cable Adapter
1. Connect the on the to an RJ45 port on a RJ45 Connector Cable Adapter Network
Device (Ethernet Patch Panel, Wall Outlet, etc.).

Scenario: A company has two oces (A and B). A single CAT5 Ethernet drop connects
Oce B to the network. The company wants to put a network printer and wireless
access point in Oce B. They would like to have a dedicated Ethernet connection for
each device back to the Network Switch in Oce A.
Solution: Cable Adapters By using the two one at each location, the company can
combine two connections to the switch over the existing wiring at Oce A and split
the signal back into two connections at Oce B.
