Operating instructions
Intended use:
Congratulations on the purchase of your new device.
You have acquired a high-quality product. The
operating instructions are a component of this product.
They contain important information on safety, use and
disposal. Familiarise yourself with all operating and
safety information before using the product. Only
use the product as described and for the declared
uses. This product is intended only for private, non-
commercial use. If you give the product to a third party,
also provide them with all documents. This LED lamp is
not suitable for household room lighting. This LED lamp
is suitable for extreme temperatures below -20°C.
Safety instructions and warnings:
LED: Do not look directly into the light, or direct the
torch into the eyes of other people. Switch the product
off when it is not in use. Do not immerse the product
in water or other liquids. Always keep the product,
batteries, and packaging out of the reach of children.
The product is not a toy. We accept no liability for
personal or material damage caused by incorrect use
or by failure to comply with these operating instructions.
In such cases, any guarantee claim is nullified.
Safety instructions for batteries:
DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed which
poses a danger to life. If a battery has been swallowed,
medical help must be sought immediately.
• Remove the batteries from the device if they have
not been used for a longer period.
• CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge the batteries!
• Prior to inserting the batteries, clean the battery
contact and device contact if necessary.
• Immediately remove exhausted batteries from the
device. There is an increased risk of leakage!
• Always keep batteries away from children, do
not expose the batteries to fire, do not short-circuit
the batteries, and do not disassemble them.
• If these instructions are not complied with, the
batteries can be discharged beyond the cut-off
voltage. This poses a risk of leakage then. If the
batteries have leaked inside the device, remove
them immediately to avoid damage to the device!
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. When getting in touch with battery
acid rinse the affected area with plenty of water
and/or consult a doctor!
• Always replace all batteries at the same time and
only insert batteries of the same type.

Perehdy kaikki käyttö- ja turvallisuusohjeisiin ennen
kuin käytät tuotetta. Käytä tuotetta vain ohjeiden
mukaan ja ilmoitettuihin käyttötarkoituksiin. Tuote on
tarkoitettu vain yksityis- eikä yrityskäyttöön. Anna
kaikki asiakirjat tuotteen mukana, kun luovutat sen
kolmannelle osapuolelle. Tämä LED-valaisin ei sovellu
yleisvalaisimeksi. LED-valaisin soveltuu myös alle -20
°C:n lämpötiloihin.

Technical details and scope of delivery:
• Scope of delivery: 1 x carrying loop ; 2 x
batteries/Mignon/AA/LR6/1,5 V ; 1 x
operating instructions
• Illuminant: 1 x LED/approx. 40 lumen/lifespan
approx. 20 000 hrs
• Battery life: approx. 3½ hrs (at 20% of the
original illuminance)
• Lighting range: approx. 35 m (according to
ANSI test criteria)
• Splashproof as per IP44
Initial operation:
Unscrew the head (1) of the flashlight and insert the two
batteries (2) into the case (3). Please ensure that the
polarity of the batteries is correct. Screw the head (1)
of the flashlight back on.
Cleaning and care:
Clean the product only with a dry lint-free cloth.
Environmental protection/disposal instructions:
Hand in the product only at a collection point for
electrical refuse. Batteries do not belong in household
waste! Please hand in batteries and/or the appliance
via available collection facilities. The disposal of old
equipment does not take place via the sales outlet.
Guarantee:
This product has a 3 year guarantee from the date
of purchase, for time and materials. This guarantee
does not apply to products which are used
incorrectly, modified, neglected (including normal
wear), damaged by accident or abnormal operating
conditions, or are handled incorrectly. For a claim
under guarantee, the appliance together with proof of
purchase and a brief description of the fault are to be
sent to Mellert SLT. If there is no proof of guarantee,
repairs will be carried out only against payment.
Turvallisuusohjeita ja varoituksia:
LED: Älä katso suoraan valoon tai suuntaa valaisinta
toisten ihmisten silmään. Katkaise virta, kun et
käytä valaisinta Älä upota tuotetta veteen tai muihin
nesteisiin. Säilytä tuote, paristot ja pakkaus poissa
lasten ulottuvilta. Tuote ei ole leikkikalu. Emme vastaa
omaisuus- tai henkilövahingoista, joiden syynä on
asiaton käyttö tai näiden käyttöohjeiden noudattamatta
jättäminen! Takuu kumoutuu tällöin.
Paristoja koskevia turvaohjeita:
HENGENVAARA! Paristoja voidaan niellä ja siitä voi
aiheutua hengenvaara. Jos paristo on nielty, on heti
hakeuduttava lääkäriin.
• Poista paristot laitteesta, jos ne ovat olleet pitkään
käyttämättä.
• VARO! RÄJÄHDYKSEN VAARA! Älä lataa
paristoja!
• Ennen kuin asennat paristot, puhdista paristojen
ja laitteen kosketuspinnat tarvittaessa.
• Poista tyhjentyneet paristot viipymättä laitteesta.
Vuotamisen vaara on suurempi!
• Pidä paristot poissa lasten käsistä, älä heitä niitä,
älä oikosulje äläkä avaa niitä.
• Jos ohjeita ei noudateta, paristot voi purkautua
alle loppujännitteen. Paristo voi silloin vuotaa.
Mikäli paristot ovat vuotaneet laitteessa, poista
ne heti, jota laite ei vahingoitu!
• Estä aineen joutuminen iholle, silmiin ja
limakalvoille. Jos kosketat paristosta vuotanutta
nestettä, huuhtele runsaalla vedellä ja / tai
hakeudu lääkäriin!
• Vaihda kaikki paristot samalla kertaa ja käytä
vain saman tyyppisiä paristoja.

Käyttöönotto:
Irrota pää (1) lampusta ja aseta kaksi paristoa (2)
koteloon (3). Huomioi paristojen napaisuus. Kiinnitä
pää (1) takaisin lamppuun.
Puhdistaminen ja hoito:
Puhdista tuote kuivalla, nukattomalla kankaalla.
