AC OPERATION
Insert AC cord connector into the AC jack on the unit. Insert the AC plug into the AC mains
outlet.

BATTERY OPERATION
1. Open the Battery Compartment.
2. Insert 4 D pieces of ” ” size batteries into the Battery Compartment hat the batteries . Make sure t
are installed with proper pol prevent possible damage to the unit: arity to
Load new batteries with their polarities ( + - ) aligned correctly. and
Do not apply heat to batteries, or internal short-circuit may occur.
If this unit is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all batteries and store them in a cool
and dry place.
Remove exhausted batteries immediately and dispose of them.
Do not use old and new batteries together. Also never use an alkaline battery with a Manganese
bat tery.
Battery life
If the sound becomes r distorted, replace all the batteries with new ones. low o
Or when the display is hardly visible, replace all the batteries with new ones.
NOTE : Batteries connection are cut off whenever AC plugged intconnector is o the jack
on the unit. If AC supply discont be reminded to unplug the AC cord inues, please
connector from the unit, otherwise, even if batteries are installed into the unit, the time
setting will lose soon.
RADIO OPERATION
1. To turn ON/OFF button ( 1 ). Frequency will be displayed the LCon the radio, press on D.
2. band ( - Select the wave AM / FM / SW ) or AUX mode by pressing the BAND/AUX IN button
( 13 ). The band / AUX indication will always be shown on the LCD
3. Adjust the antenna ( ) See ANTENNAS
4. Tune nually, automatically, MEMORY desired ion. The display ma or by to a radio stat LCD will
the frequency of the received station for 5 seconds, and then jump back to show the time. ( See
TUNING ). After a station is chosen, the radio frequency and the time will be shown
alternatively on the LCD for a period of 5 secon ds.
5. Adjust the volume by pressing Vol+ ( 7 ) or Vol- ( 8 ), to the desired level.
Volume levels from 00 ( mute ) to 18 ( maximum ).
6. P again to off the radio will show time only. ress ON/OFF button ( 1 ) turn , then LCD
Note : The current station ( AM, ) either FM or SW and also the current volume level will be
memorized at the time when the radio is turned off. the memorized Once you turn on the radio again,
station will broadcast with the volume level. memorized
