SX1115RT and SX1120RT

Mounting

The SurgeX SX1115/1120RT are designed to be installed in a inch equipment 19

rack and require one unit - (1U)of rack space. Rem the product from oveits

packaging and slide it into place in the rack being careful to feed the power cord

into the rack rst and guide it that does not get caught jammed soitoras the

product is installed.

120 Volt Connections

Connect power to the unit by pluggi ngthe cord into a 120V ac receptacle. The

SX1120RT mu plugged into a 20 amp receptacl stbee.If a 120V, 20 amp

receptacle is not available, you will need to have one installed by a licensed

electrical contractor.

The SX1115/1120RT have a total of 9 receptacles: six switched, two always on

and a front panel courtesy outlet. Each receptacle is rated for a maximum load of

15 amps, but the total load mu not exceed st15 am for the SX1115RT and 20 ps

am for the SX1120RT. Plug psthe equipment cords into the always- and on

switched receptacl esased need to power the equipment.

The always- and courtesy receptacles provi power ondeas long power is as

supplied to the SurgeX and the volta ACgeis within norl maliits.m The six

switched outlets provide power only when the front panel switch is and the on

remo control input teis also activated.
