INTRODUCTION

P4Xi riflescope is proudly designed, machined and
assembled in the USA for precision shooters who
demand the best.
This manual outlines the basic operation and
maintenance of the scope.

MOUNTING THE SCOPE
Quality components ensure that your scope will re-
main safely and securely mounted, while providing
maximum accuracy. The 1-4x24mm model requires
30mm rings. The larger tubes on the 4-16x56mm
require 34mm rings. Steiner recommends using
high-quality rings and bases.
Read the manufacturer’s directions regarding the in-
stallation of mounts and rings.
WARNING! Make sure your firearm is unloaded be-
fore attempting to mount the scope on your firear
Practice safe firearms handling at all times.
EYEPIECE FOCUSING
The eyepiece can be focused so that the reticle ap-
pears sharp and black to your eyes. Adjusting the fo-
cus is quick and easy to do. To adjust the eyepiece,
follow this procedure:
1. Point the scope at the sky or a plain wall and take
a quick glance through the scope. If the reticle ap-
pears sharp and black, no further adjustment is nec-
essary.
2. If the reticle is not clear, use quick glances through
the scope while rotating the focus ring until the ret-
icle is sharp and black.
NOTE: Do not look through the eyepiece as you turn
the focus ring. Your eyes will adjust to the out-of-
focus condition, and prevent you from achieving op-
timal focus.
