Installation

Installing a Drive

Warning! Drives should be handled carefully, especially when they’re transported. If

you’re not careful with your drives, you may lose data as a result.

1. Use a (included) to remove the (x 2) Phillips Head Screwdriver Drive-Tray Screws

from the . Enclosure

2. Carefully pull the out of the . Drive TrayEnclosure

3. Place the beside the and align the screw groove on the with DriveDrive TrayDrive

the on the .Adjustable Drive Length HolesDrive Tray

4. Use a to remove the .Phillips Head Screwdriver Drive-Mount Screw

Note: If the drive-mount hardware is already installed in the correct position, proceed

to step 9.

5. Align the with the correct according to the length of Stando Drive Length Hole

the .Drive

6. Insert the into the large part of the .StandoDrive Length Hole

Note: Make sure that the longer part of the stando is on the same side as the M.2

NGFF B Key Drive Connector.

7. Align the notches on the with the edges of the smaller part of the StandoDrive

Length Hole.

8. Slide the into the smaller part of the .Stando Drive Length Hole

9. Gently slide the connector on the (on a 30-degree angle) into the DriveM.2 NGFF B

Key Drive ConnectorEnclosure on the .

Note: Do not force the Drive into the enclosure, the connector on your drive is keyed so

that it only ts one way.
