touchingalargegroundedmetalsurface(suchasthecomputercase)forseveralseconds.AlsobecarefultohandlethePCIExpresscardby

itsedgesandnotthegoldconnectors.

1.Makesurethatyoursystemisunpoweredandunpluggedandyouaregrounded.

2.Removethecoverofyoursystem(refertocomputersystemdocumentation,ifnecessary)sothatthePCIExpressexpansionslot

openingsonthemotherboardareaccessible.

3.AlignthePCIExpressconnectorontherisercardwithanavailablePCIExpressslot.

4.Gentlyinsertthecardintotheemptyslot,makingsureitisseatedrmly.Fastenthecardtotherisercardmountingbracketonthe

computerchassis(refertocomputersystemdocumentation,ifnecessary).

5.Installthedesired32-bit5VPCIcardintothePCIslotontherisercardandfastensecurelytothecomputerchassis(refertocomputer

systemdocumentation,ifnecessary).

6.ConnectanSP4Floppypowerconnectorfromthesystempowersupplytotheconnectoronthecard.

7.Replaceandfastenthecomputercover.
