Operation

1.Removetheprotectivecap.

2.Firstrinsetheelectrodewithdistilledwater,andsuckitwithfilter-paper.

3.TurnthemeteronbypressingtheONkey.

4.Immersethephmeterelectrodeinthesolutiontobetested.

5.Stirgentlyandwaitforthereadingtostabilize.

6.Pressthe"HOLD"key,thereadingisbekept.Whenrepeatmeasuring,please

pressthe"HOLD"keyagain,itautomaticallyrelievestheholdcondition.

7.Afteruse,rinsetheelectrodewithwatertominimizecontamination.Turnthemeter

offbypressingtheOFFkey.

8.Alwaysreplacetheprotectivecapafteruse.

PHCalibration

1.ImmersetheelectrodeinpH6.86(pH7.00)buffersolutionofphosphate,andgentlyshakeit.

2.Allowthereadingtostabilizeandwithasmallscrewdriverturnthecalibrationtrimmer

untilthedisplayshows"6.86"("7.00").Rinsetheelectrodewithdistilledwater,andsuckit

withfilter-paper.

3.ImmersetheelectrodeinpH4.01orpH9.18(pH10.0)thebuffersolutionofborax.

4.Afteraboutoneminute,untilthedisplayshows"4.01"or"9.18"("10.0").
