Applicable model: CENTRAL CONTROL (SL4 or later)
This document is the installation manual for the relay cable (RLD-WR/1) to be used to connect the refrigerant leak detector to the central control
(SL4 or later).
Please also refer to the installation manual provided with the refrigerant leak detector.
This relay cable can be used as an audible alarming device by connecting the refrigerant leak detector to the central control. In that case, no
power is supplied to it as it is not connected to an indoor unit. Follow the installation manual provided with the refrigerant leak detector to connect
the power supply (DC18V).

2. Settings of refrigerant leak detector
Set up the Dip SW of the refrigerant leak detector as follows.
SW2-2 ON
SW2-3 OFF
If the Dip SW is not set up, this detector cannot be used as an audible alarming device.
3. Wiring connection
Connect the R/C cable to DO2 of the central control.
●Forinstructionsonhowtoconnecttothecentralcontrol,
refer to the installation manual provided with the central control.
Connect the R/C cable to this relay cable.
Connect the connector (2P, white) of the relay cable to the terminal (CNMA) on the detector board.
Install the upper case with care not to pinch the wiring.
Place the connection section between the R/C cable and relay cable inside the detector.
4. Settings of central control
Set “OPEN/CLOSE setting of Malfunction Output (Normal)” to “OPEN”.
Set “Malfunction Output (ALL/Leakage)” to “LEAKAGE(refrigerant leakage)”.
