2Polar pattern slide switch //Adjust the slide switch to choose

between wide cardioid, cardioid or supercardioid polar pattern.

3Attenuation level slide switch //Attenuation is used in high SPL

environments in order to prevent clipping of the microphone, mixer

and other audio equipment.

4Low-cut fi lter slide switch //Low-cut fi lters eliminate low-frequency

sounds to compensate the proximity effect and reduce

// Getting started

1Connect your microphone to your mixing console, audio interface or microphone preamplifi er with a 3-pin XLR cable.

2Supply the MTP 940 CM with 48V phantom power.

3Set the input gain on your mixing console, preamp, etc. accordingly.

4To ensure best sound quality, do not cover any part of the grille.
