The worktop is pre-treated at the factory with hard
wax oil and no other treatment is necessary until
the surface starts to wear. Worktop with a 3mm
layer of wood on particleboard can be sanded
down to remove scratches, if needed.
When the surface starts to wear or become dry,
treat it with STOCKARYD wood treatment oil to
ensure that the worktop will retain its durable
surface for many years to come.
Advice for use:
After installation
• When the worktop’s surface starts to wear or
becomes dry, sand the worktop following the
direction of the grain.
• Prepare the worktop rst by polishing the wood
surfaces with ne sandpaper. Wipe away all
sawdust with a dry cloth.
• Apply STOCKARYD wood treatment oil onto a
soft cloth then wipe over the surface to create a
thin, even lm.
• Leave to penetrate the surface for approx. 20
minutes.
• Wipe-o any unabsorbed oil with a dry, soft
cloth.
• Allow the surface to dry and repeat the oil
treat¬ment 1-2 times if required, depending on
the absorbency of the wood.
• After the rst treatment, sand the surface lightly
with ne sandpaper. Let the surface dry and
repeat the treatment after a few days.

Care and maintenance
• To ensure that the worktop will retain its
durable surface for many years to come, treat
it with STOCKARYD wood treatment oil when
needed.
• Areas where the worktop may dry out, such
as around the sink and hob, should be treated
often.
• Scratches and small blemishes can be treated
with ne sandpaper on a sanding block.
• Always sand in the direction of the grain.
• For daily cleaning, use ordinary washing-up
detergent, soap or water. Never use chemicals
to clean the worktop.
• Worktops that are installed above a dishwasher,
washing machine or oven should be protected
on the underside with FIXA diusion barrier.
• Always use a chopping board, never cut directly
on the worktop with a knife. Never pull an
object with rough or ragged edges across the
worktop as it can scratch the surface.
• Do not place a toaster, coee maker, kettle or
other kitchen appliances that emit heat directly
over a seam between two worktops because the
heat can damage the seam.
• Never use a steel scourer, scourer pad, souring
agent or similar products as they can scratch
the surface
WARNING
Soak any used cloth impregnated with this product
in water immediately after use, or store in an
airtight glass or metal container to prevent the risk
of self-ignition.

Die Platte wurde bei der Herstellung mit
Hartwachsöl behandelt. Erneute Behandlung
ist erst erforderlich, wenn die Oberäche
Abnutzungserscheinungen zeigt. Arbeitsplatten mit
3 mm Auageschicht aus Massivholz auf Spanplatte
können bei Bedarf leicht angeschlien werden, um
Kratzer zu entfernen.
Die Arbeitsplatte mit STOCKARYD Holzöl
behandeln, sobald die Oberäche trocken wirkt
oder Abnutzungserscheinungen zeigt. So bleibt sie
viele Jahre lang strapazierfähig und ansehnlich.
Gebrauchsanleitung:
Nach der Montage
• Wenn die Arbeitsplatte trocken wirkt oder
Abnutzungserscheinungen zeigt, die Oberäche
mit Sandpapier in Faserrichtung anschleifen.
• Die Arbeitsplatte durch Anschleifen der
Holzoberächen mit feinem Sandpapier
vorbereiten. Schleifstaub mit einem trockenen
Tuch abwischen.
• Danach STOCKARYD Holzöl auf einen Lappen
geben und gleichmäßig als dünnen Film
auftragen.
• Das Öl ca. 20 Minuten einziehen lassen.
• Überschüssiges Öl mit einem weichen,
trockenen Tuch abwischen.
• Die Oberäche trocknen lassen und den
Vorgang bei Bedarf 1-2mal wiederholen - je
nachdem, wie gut das Öl aufgenommen wird.
• Die Oberäche nach der ersten Behandlung
leicht mit feinem Sandpapier anschleifen.
Trocknen lassen und die Behandlung nach
einigen Tagen wiederholen.
