Description
Hartke’s HC33 Analog Bass Chorus Pedal
features all-analog circuitry for adding lush,
shimmering accents to your sound. A chorus
effect is created by taking your instrument signal
and mixing it with delayed, modulated copies.
The HC33 enables you create vibrant modulation
to elegant swirls. A Depth knob lets you set the
modulation sweep amount, while the Speed knob
adjusts the rate of the chorus effect.

1. POWER In - Connect a 9V DC 300mA with
center negative
2. DEPTH Knob - Control the amount of sweep
deviation.
3. SPEED Knob - Adjusts the speed of the LFO
and the chorus effect.
4. BLEND Knob - Adjusts the mix of the
effected signal and the original signal.
5. INPUT - Connect the INPUT of the pedal
to your instrument output or some other
effects unit with a 1/4” mono phone plug
6. OUTPUT - Connect the OUTPUT of the
pedal to your guitar amplifier or the Input
of another effects unit.
7. On/Off Indicator - Lights when the effect is
enabled.
8. ON/OFF Switch - This footswitch is used to
turn effect on or off.

Controls
Installing the Battery
Install a standard 9-volt battery by removing the battery door and attaching the battery to the
terminal connector. Fit the battery into the compartment and reinstall the battery door.
Using a AC/DC Power Adapter
You can power the HC33 using a 9V power supply. Simply plug the power adapter into the DC
inlet and then, plug the power adapter into a standard AC power outlet.
