2 Safety
2.1 Safety instructions
– Only assemble the product on components that are in a condition to be safely
operated.
– Observe tightening torques. Unless otherwise specified, the tolerance
is±20%.
2.2 Intended use
Status monitoring of holding brakes DACS, DFLC und DFLG.
2.3 Foreseeable misuse
The inductive proximity sensor DADG-D-F8 is exclusively provided for status mon-
itoring and is not suitable as a safety-relevant test system.

5 Assembly

1. Depressurise holding brake .2
2. Unscrew the threaded pin[A] from the outer surface.

1. Screw the proximity sensor into the thread[C] up to the stop. Use the1
hexagon(D) on the sensor.
ÄThe lock nut[B] does not rest on the outer surface.
2. Connect the proximity sensor .1
ÄThe signal lights up.

• Unscrew the proximity sensor slowly until the signal goes out.1

• Screw the proximity sensor in slowly until the signal lights up.1

• Tighten the lock nut[B]. Tightening torque:4Nm
