SULLA SICUREZZA

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Your attention is drawn to the following

actions that could compromise the char-

acteristics of the product:

• Read and retain the instructions which

follow.

• Follow all indications and instructions

given on the device.

• Make sure that the surface on which

the device rests is stable. If it is not, the

device could fall, seriously damaging it.

• Make sure that the device rests on a hard

(non-padded) surface and that there is

sufﬁ cient ventilation.

• When positioning the device, make sure

cables do not get damaged.

• Use the type of electrical power supply

indicated on the device label. If uncer-

tain, contact your dealer.

• Make sure the electrical system that

supplies power to the device is equipped

with a ground wire and is protected by a

differential switch.

• Do not block the ventilation openings.

• Do not insert objects inside the device as

this could cause short-circuiting or dam-

age components that could jeopardize

printer functioning.

• Do not carry out repairs on the device

yourself, except for the normal main-

tenance operations given in the user

manual.

• Make sure that there is an easily-acces-

sible outlet with a capacity of no less

than 10A closely to where the device is

to be installed.

• Periodically perform scheduled mainte-

nance on the device to avoid dirt build-up

that could compromise the correct, safe

operation of the unit.

• Before any type of work is done on the

machine, disconnect the power supply.

• Do not touch the head heating line with

bare hands or metal objects. Do not

perform any operation inside the printer

immediately after printing because the

head and motor tend to become very

hot.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

CUSTOM S.p.A. declines all responsibil-

ity for accidents or damage to persons or

property occurring as a result of tampering,

structural or functional modiﬁ cations, un-

suitable or incorrect installations, environ-

ments not in keeping with the equipment’s

protection degree or with the required tem-

perature and humidity conditions, failure

the environment and the wellbeing of

INFORMATIONEN

Wir möchten Sie darauf hinweisen, daß

folgende Aktionen die oben bescheinigte

Unterlage stellen, denn er könnte herunter-

fallen und stark beschädigt werden.

• Das Gerät nicht auf weiche Unterlagen

stellen und nicht in Räumen aufstellen,

• Das Gerät derart aufstellen, dass die

verschiedenen Kabel desselben nicht

beschädigt werden.

• Das Gerät an eine Stromleitung mit den

speisende Stromleitung über einen Erd-

leiter verfügt und durch einen Differenzial-

oder zu Beschädigungen führen können,

lich im Anwenderhandbuch aufgeführten

Wartungseingriffe.

• Sicherstellen, dass am Aufstellort das

Gerät eine leicht zugängliche Steckdose

DER WARE

Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Mül-

ltonne bedeutet, dass elektrische und

elektronische Altgeräte NICHT in den

gewöhnlichen Hausmüll gegeben werden.

Nähere Informationen zum Recycling die-

ses Produkts ﬁ nden Sie in den in Ihrem

Land geltenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

• Dieses Gerät darf nicht in den normalen

Haushaltsabfall gelangen, sondern es

muss als Sonderabfall entsorgt werden.

sere stata scaricata e ricaricata

completamente almeno due o

tre volte.

• Non utilizzare mai caricabatterie

e/o batterie che risultino danneg-

giati o usurati.

• L’autonomia della batteria varia

considerevolmente, ad esempio,

in base all’intensità della stampa

e con il testo da stampare.

• I tempi di carica variano a secon-

da del livello di carica, del tipo

di batteria e di carica-batterie

utilizzato. La batteria può essere

caricata e scaricata centinaia

di volte p1-ma con l’uso si esauri-

sce. Quando l’autonomia (sia

in stampa che in attesa) risulta

notevolmente ridotta rispetto al

normale, è giunto il momento di

acquistare una nuova batteria.

• Utilizzare solo batterie conformi

alle speciﬁ che e ricaricarle usando

esclusivamente i caricabatterie

approvati da CUSTOM S.p.A.

• Quando il caricabatterie non

viene usato, scollegarlo dalla

presa di corrente.

• Se non utilizzata, una batteria

anche completamente carica si

scarica automaticamente con

il tempo.

• Le batterie NiMH durano più

a lungo se, di tanto in tanto,

si p1-ha l’accortezza di scaricarle

completamente.

• Temperature estreme possono

incidere sulla capacità di carica

della batteria. Lasciarla raffred-

dare o riscaldare, a seconda

dei casi.

• Si consiglia di eseguire la ricarica

delle batterie ad una temperatura

compresa tra +15°C e +30°C.

• Never use battery re-chargers

and/or batteries that are dam-

aged or worn.

• Battery life varies greatly de-

pending, for example, on print

density and the text to be printed.

• Re-charge times vary depending

on depletion levels, type of bat-

tery and battery re-charger used.

Batteries may be recharged and

discharged hundreds of times,

but they do wear out over time.

When battery life (both print and

stand-by) is noticeably shorter

than usual, it is time to buy a

new battery.

• Only utilize batteries that conform

to speciﬁ cations and only recharge

them using battery re-chargers ap-

proved by CUSTOM S.p.A.

• When the battery re-charger is

not in use, unplug it from the

electrical mains.

• If not used, even a completely-

charged battery will automatically

discharge over time.

• NiMH batteries last longer if

you remember to completely

discharge them every so often.

• Extreme temperatures can affect

battery charge levels leave them

to cool or warm as required.

• We recommend to recharge the

battery at a temperature between

+15°C and +30°C.

• Bitte beachten Sie, das ein neuer

NiMH-Akku erst dann seine ma-

aufgeladen wurde.

• Verwenden Sie niemals Ladege-

und des zu druckenden Textes.

• Die Ladezeiten variieren auf

und des Typs des Akkus sowie

des verwendeten Ladegerätes.

Akkus können Hunderte von

Malen aufgeladen und entladen

werden, aber mit der Zeit wird

ihre Leistung schwächer. Wenn

die Autonomie (sowohl beim Dru-

cken als auch im Ruhezustand)

erheblich kürzer ist als nach dem

Kauf, sollten Sie einen neuen

Akku erwerben.

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich

Akkus mit den vorgegebenen

Merkmalen und laden Sie sie

ausschließlich mit Ladegeräten

auf, die von der Firma CUSTOM

S.p.A. zugelassen sind.

• Wenn das Ladegerät nicht ver-

wendet wird, trennen Sie es von

der Steckdose.

• Ein vollständig geladener Akku

entlädt sich mit der Zeit – auch

dann, wenn er nicht verwen-

det wird.

• Sie können die Lebensdauer von

NiMH-Akkus verlängern, indem

Sie sie von Zeit zu Zeit vollständig

entladen.

• Extreme Temperaturen können

sich auf die Ladekapazität des

Akkus auswirken. Lassen Sie

den Akku deshalb gegebenenfalls

abkühlen bzw. erwärmen.

• Laden Sie Akkus am besten

immer bei einer Temperatur zwi-

schen +15 °C und +30 °C auf.
