built-in Bose adaptor that allows the proper audio in t gain from pu
the a ermarket radio to the Bose ampli . To use this feature, plug fier
in the male 8-pin co ec r on th harness to the GRAY female 8-pin nn to e
co ector on the SOOGM-16W mo le. The mo le is also labeled nn du du
“Bose” and “Non Bose” to avoid confusion. (see picture below)
If the vehicle is NOT equipped with a Bose system, pl in the male ug
8-pin co ector to the BLAnn CK female 8-pin on the SOOGM- W 16
module.

The SOOGM-16W has a pot ometer to adjust the chime vol e. en um
It is set at half way by default. To adjust the volume, simply use a
suitable screw driver and turn the potenometer clockwise to
increase the lume and covo unter-clockwise to decrease the vol e. um
To adjust the OnStar volu , turn on OnStar and adjust the volume using the Steering Wh l Control volume me ee
adjustment. Once it is set, the SOOGM-16W will memorize this level.
The SOOGM-16W includes a video harness that allows a front and rear view camera to be plugged in
and viewed on the aermarket radio screen. The video harness inc es a 20-pin brown co ector lud nn
that plugs into the OEM rear view camera harness to retain the use of the OEM rear view camera (if
equipped). The two female video RCAs are used to co ect ann n a ermarket front and rear view
camera (if vehicle is not equipped with an OEM rear view camera).

1. Remove the OEM radio and plug the CRUX 2444A’s 20 pin connector to the vehicle’s 20 pin factory RSE
connector at the factory radio location. Use one of the Crux parts listed in the Note section.
2. To view videos from the aftermarket radio on the factory overhead screen, connect the RCA’s lebeled
“TO FACTORY OVERHEAD SCREEN” to the aftemarket radio AV output .
3. To retain the use of the factory rear panel AV inputs, plug the RCA’s labeled “AV INPUT” to the aftermarket
radio’s AV input (optional).
4 Test the audio & video on the overhead screen before installing the radio back into the dashboard
