Congratulations on the purchase of your Buccan Salt & Pepper
Grinder set.
Read this manual carefully to understand how to use the
appliance. Keep this manual for future reference, as it contains
important information.
DESCRIPTION
This easy to operate electric pepper and salt mill with light is
made of stainless steel combined with plastic.
The mill runs on 6 AAA batteries (not included) and is
illuminated when in use. The grinding fineness is adjustable
from coarse to very fine.

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Unscrew the top part from the grinder; by turning it
counterclockwise. Install the 6 AAA batteries (not included)
as shown
2) Gently pull the battery unit upwards out of the salt and
pepper mill (Note: Do not turn!)
3) Fill the bottom part of the mill with (dry) peppercorns or
coarse salt. The grinder is not suitable for rock salt.
4) For optimum use, the reservoir must remain filled to approx.
80%.
5) With the adjusting screw at the bottom of the base you can
adjust how fine the grind becomes
6) Tighten the set screw to grind finer; make sure that the set
screw is not screwed in completely. There is a chance that
the motor will get stuck because the mill can no longer
rotate.
7) If the grinder gets stuck during grinding, just shake it to
loosen the salt or pepper
8) Start and stop grinding with the button on top of the grinder.
As soon as this button is pressed, the lamp lights up.
9) Keep the grinder clean and avoid direct contact with water.
10) With a slightly damp cloth, you can wipe the outside of the
grinder to remove stains, etc.
WARNING
Never fully tighten the set screw at the bottom of the base.
