ATTENTION: With the key out of the ignition,
disconnect the negative battery terminal
before installing this product. Ensure that all
installation connections are secure before
cycling the ignition to test this product.
NOTE: Refer also to the instructions included
with the aftermarket radio.

CONNECTIONS
From the AXRC-GMLN3 harness to the aftermarket radio, connect as indicated:
• Black wire to the ground wire.
• Yellow wire to the constant/memory wire.
• Red wire to the accessory wire.
• Blue wire to the antenna turn on wire.
• Orange/White wire to the illumination wire.
Note: If the aftermarket radio has no illumination wire, tape off the Orange/White wire.
• White wire to the left front (+) speaker wire.
• White/Black wire to the left front (-) speaker wire.
• Gray wire to the right front (+) speaker wire.
• Gray/Black wire to the right front (-) speaker wire.
• Green wire to the left rear (+) speaker wire.
• Green/Black wire to the left rear (-) speaker wire.
• Purple wire to the right rear (+) speaker wire.
• Purple/Black wire to the right rear (-) speaker wire.
The following (3) wires are only for multimedia/navigation radios that require these wires.
• Blue/Pink wire to the VSS/speed sense wire.
• Green/Purple wire to the reverse wire.
• Light Green wire to the parking brake wire.

1. With all connections completed reconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Plug the AXRC-GMLN3 harness into the AXRC-GMLN3 interface and then to the wiring
harness in the vehicle.
Attention! If the interface loses power for any reason, the following steps will need to be
performed again.
1. To initialize the interface, turn the ignition on and wait for (30) seconds.
2. Cycle the ignition off, then back on.
3. Test all functions of the aftermarket radio installation fo r proper operation, including proper
balance and fader operation.
4.
Close all the doors then turn the key off. The radio should stay on until the driver’s door
is re-opened.
Note: If the radio doesn’t come on within (60) seconds, turn the key to the off position,
disconnect the interface, check all connections, reconnect the interface, and then try again.
